Refund and Cancellation Policy
RANIA Academy is a business name of Neural Networks Group Pty Ltd (ACN 691 933 632, ABN 53 691 933 632). Read this with our Student Terms and Conditions; where the two differ, the Terms apply.
Effective date: 24 September 2026. All prices are in Australian dollars. GST is not currently applicable.
1. Your rights under Australian law come first
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.
If a course is not supplied with due care and skill, or does not match how we described it, you may be entitled to a remedy including a refund, regardless of anything below. Changing your mind is not one of those circumstances.
Nothing below stops us giving a refund in a particular case where we think it is fair. Doing so once does not waive our position in any other case.
2. Live courses — if you cancel

2.1 Tell us by email to info@raniadigital.academy. The date we receive your email is the date that counts.
2.2 Substitutions are free at any time. If you cannot attend, someone else from your organisation can take your place — just tell us their name and email before the session.
2.3 One free transfer per enrolment. A second transfer is treated as a cancellation under the table above.
3. Multi-session courses and series
3.1 A series is sold as one program. The table in section 2 runs from the first session.
3.2 Once a series has begun, we do not sell the remaining sessions at the full series price. If you ask to join a series that is already under way, we will either place you in the next run or quote you only for the sessions you can still attend.
3.3 If you withdraw part way through a series, we refund the value of sessions not yet delivered, less any materials already issued to you.
4. On-demand courses
4.1 On-demand courses are digital content delivered immediately.
4.2 If you have not started a course, tell us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it.
4.3 Once you have started a course we do not refund it for change of mind. Section 1 still applies — if the course does not work, is not as described, or the content is faulty, tell us and we will fix it or refund you.
5. If we cancel, reschedule or change a course
5.1 Public dates depend on trainer availability and enrolment numbers, and may be adjusted.
5.2 If we cancel or move a course you have paid for, you choose: move to the next available date, or take a full refund. We will contact you as soon as we know.
5.3 We do not reimburse travel, accommodation or time. Please keep that in mind before booking around a course date.
6. Corporate and group bookings
6.1 Group bookings of three or more can substitute attendees free of charge at any time.
6.2 Cancelling a booked in-house session with fewer than 10 business days’ notice incurs 50% of the fee, because the trainer’s day is already committed.
6.3 Invoiced bookings are payable on the terms shown on the invoice, whether or not attendees turn up.
7. How to ask
Email info@raniadigital.academy with your name, the course, and what you would like to do. We will acknowledge within 5 business days. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 10 business days.
8. If you are not satisfied with our answer
Tell us and we will look again. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission or your state or territory consumer protection agency.
